Split Boat Rental: Rent a Boat in Split & be your own skipper

We offer Trogir and Split boat rental services to our customers who have certified skipper license. You can rent a boat in Split or Trogir, be your own skipper and enjoy with your friends and family in complete privacy while cruising around the Adriatic islands. 

If you want to rent a boat without the skipper, you need to have a certified  skipper license. You DO NOT need a license issued in Croatia, although that one would work too. Valid skipper license issued in your country is enough for you to rent a speedboat.

Terms and Conditions

At  Split Boat Rental, w e do not rent all the boats without the skipper but the ones that we do rent, you can find below. Besides skipper license, you need to bring your passport or personal ID card. Also, you need to be at least 21 years of age or older. 

You can rent a boat for one day or several days. That being said, you can pick it up from 8:00 in the morning but you have to return it till 19:00 PM, on your last day of rent. Whether the last day is first day or seventh day of weekly rent.

Pick up point

Pick up point is usually at the Split Waterfront, near the promenade. However,  we can also bring the boat to specified location, on your request.

If you want the boat to be delivered at specified location, we might charge it as special service, depending on the circumstances.

Smaller speedboats for up to 8 people

If you are a smaller group (4 to 6 people) or a couple, these speedboats will be the best option, regarding the size, speed and price.

When it comes to Split boat rental, they are best suited for exploring small towns and hidden beaches of mid Adriatic islands such as Brač, Hvar, Šolta and Drvenik.

Midsize speedboats for up to 12 people

When it comes to split boat rental, these are the best speedboats available for rent without the skipper.

Not only that these boats are bigger and faster but they are also better equipped and more suited for visiting farthest islands from Split and Trogir such as Vis, Biševo, Budikovac and famous Blue Cave.

Split Boat Rental -  How to Rent a Boat?

If you want to rent a boat in Split or Trogir, you will have to pay deposit at least one day before but you can reserve the boat one month in advance, if you want. The sooner you book the boat, the higher the chances that you get the one you want.

When it comes to deposit, it varries from boat to boat. It makes 30% of the price. The remaining 70% you pay when you pick up the boat.

One of our skippers will deliver you the boat at the arranged place, day and time. Our skipper will also go through the basics with the person that will drive the boat, just in case. Person who will rent a boat and steer it, MUST HAVE SKIPPER LICENSE. 

Fuel is not included in the price. That being said, you will get the boat with the full tank of fuel and you have to return it with the full tank. Gas station is located at Split harbor. 

Fuel will cost you between 50 to 100 €, if you want to visit mid Adriatic islands. If you go all the way to Vis and Blue cave or you drive with full throttle, you can expect fuel bill between 150 and 300 €.
